We are pleased to announce that the Fireworks Display will again feature a bonfire and will be held on Friday 6th November on the Sport Field. Please come and support this event. Details to follow.
The Food-waste BIN service begins this week on 5th October. Please put your food waste bin out alongside your normal household bin. This will be a weekly service and so it will go out with the ‘black bins’ and the ‘green bins’.
Unused food and food leftovers currently make up about 30% of what is thrown away in each household’s refuse (green) bin and being able to recycle this will significantly reduce the amount of waste sent for incineration. It will be used to generate clean, green energy and nutrient-rich soil improver for farmers.
IN October the HVA has its AGM, it’s on 13th at 7:30 – there are more details on the HVA page
